hey guys and gals i was just wondering what all i could put on a rack? not looking to build one just want to learn some of the things so when i read an article it will actually make sense!!!

If it has some kind of loop or hole where you can put a carabiner through it - you can put it on your rack!

Your dog, your inflatable sex doll, a case of beer, the kitchen sink - All are valid parts of a rack.

Cams, and putty nutz. Note that tricams and hex's were superceded by cams. Wired chocks were superceded by putty nutz.

Blasphemy!! Tricams will never be superceeded by anything....ever! Mad

I can think of 4 types of free-climbing racks in (modern) climbing....
1) wires + hexes = old school
2) wires + cams = new/boring school
3) micros/brassies + lowe-balls + tri-cams + big bros = cool school Cool

4) knots = scary/sandstone school

Ball nutz,
Tri cams,
hexes,
micro nuts,
big bros
