I've never been rock climbing, but I LOVE the outdoors and I'm looking for outdoor physical activities that will challenge me! Obviously I realize I cannot just do Rock Climbing, so I am looking for classes offered around the La Crosse, WI area. I would prefer something within an hour drive.

You could try checking out UWL. I know they have an indoor wall. It may only be open to students/faculty, but I'm not sure. If it's open to public in some way, it may not be a bad place to meet some folks for outdoor climbing.
