OP, Maybe I'm missing the cutting edge training but I agree it's strange if he's having you do 3 month's of cross fit with a little campusing or pull ups mixed in? When your young and haven't been climbing long presumably, you need mileage. I'd drop this guy and find another team or talk to the other kids on the team and see if they feel the same and get the parents involved. I can't imagine doing anything but climbing/bouldering at least half of the total time. Good luck.
