I am one week out from a car accident (no airbag deployment, thank god) that aggrivated the muscles on the left side of my neck and upper border of the left shoulder blade. I have returned to "lighter" version of my basic work out routine (elliptical for 45 min and weights). I was wondering how long one should wait or what the level of intensity in climbing should be until things are healed up? I do not see an issue with low angle slab climbing, but steep limestone might a different story.

I unfortunately don't have any experience or advice. I just wanted to say I hope you feel better soon ^.^ Edit to add: I do all that MLP spamming, and when I actually say something cheesy I forget to use a ponypic?

I have occasional neck problems that are aggravated more by belaying than climbing. Belay glasses!
