Anyone have this? I climbed pretty hard two days this past weekend and now I have a burning type pain along the arch of my foot. Doesn't seem like plantar fasciitis, anyone else have problems with their arch? I asked the google, but no answers. Thought you all might have some! Oh and shoes fit well, not too tight, but are older.

Hard to say for sure, but that's what my plantar fasciitis feels like.

Could be plantar fasciitis, I guess... Plantar fasciitis is usually first felt in the heel, and to the attachment of the plantar fascia on the calcaneus. It is usually extremely painful first step in the morning, and feels like you are stepping on a piece of broken glass under your heel. (firsthand knowledge, as well as clinical experience). Were you bouldering? Did you take a few groundfalls? Rule out tarsal/metatarsal fracture, or any of several ligament sprains, like a Lisfranc. Were you doing some really strenuous edging or hard stemming/smearing with really soft shoes? Could be just some overuse, in which case, let it rest.

I wasn't bouldering and didn't take any groundfalls, but I was doing a lot of crack climbing, so twisting my foot a bit and probably tensing and curling my toes. It doesn't hurt too bad it the morning, but "burns" more painfully throughout the day. To me burn=tear, but what sucks it that is could be any number of things. I might go get in looked at just in case. Damn! Just starting the season too.
