Hey there! I'm super psyched to try climbing at Squamish since watching that film Western Gold (if you don't know what I'm talking about check out the trailer here: http://vimeo.com/39651458 or download here: http://savagefilms.net/store/ )
I'm more of a moderate boulderer though, so I'm wondering about V3-V6 climbs (that aren't crazy highballs like the guys in this film do). Any suggestions?
Also - what time of year is best? July? I don't want to get rained out and I hear the weather can be sketchy....

Ah the pad people. I remember sitting on the top of climbs in J-tree watching tribes of the pad people marching through the desert. My buddy and I would occasionally add a chapter to the chronicles of the pad people.
Not that there's anything wrong with bouldering, I've been doing a bit of it myself lately, but there's more to climbing than little rocks.

ok ok, so I asked the same question about red rocks b/c I have friends here saying the same thing! Stop bouldering! get up high!
apparently i should be dropping my pad and joining the light in the sky? lol
apparently there is a great guidebook for the boulders - I'll check that out.

the bouldering in Squish is world class, but so is the crack climbing. Just saying it would be well worth your while to grab a rope and scab up the back of you hands!
