I have carefully watched ewe belay often and dispite teh fact that ewe still use an atc... or look alike device, I thinks ewe are also a gud belayer. So it's knot about me knot trusting yore belay. It's more about me reenforcing that I trust her to belay and to give her plenty ov opportunities to refine her skills.
She is a gud belayer and has caught hundreds ov my falls... Still hundreds ov catches is knot thousands. Noing how to give a soft catch is easy and she dues well at that, but noing when to catch hard to keep yore climber oft teh deck, or when to ignore yore leaders yell to take when they are above a bolt, takes a little more practice.
I'm big on loyality... and as long as she is willing to keep cumming owt, I am willing to continue to teach... and be teh crash dummy.
