I think my favorite solo in the park so far was Fote Hog onsight. That thing is super cool.

They are pricey. I think retail is going to be $80? So double what my tikka costs. I was at the hardwear store last week, and saw some chinese knockoff cheapo tikkas for $5. It does have some pretty cool features that weren't shown in the short video but are on the company website. I'm pretty frugal so ordinarily I wouldn't go for something like this, but I do think it's a cool project and I'm going to support my friend. If you want a headlamp from the kickstarter campaign the donation is $65.

I was thinking on the weekend how one of those foldup camp tables would be handy, then I could sit back in my camp chair and make my dinner. Sitting on rocks hunched over a stove makes my back hurt.

Except instead of playing horseshoes all day I go climbing. Some of my rumney camping set ups have been pretty pimped out.

No, we were making fun of people who go camping just for the sake of going camping. We go camping because we want to climb at location XYZ and don't want to pay for a hotel room.

So I ran for 2.5 miles today (though that includes a couple of minutes warming up and cooling down). Kinda hit that point where I felt like I could keep going for a while and so I did. Considering I only have a 1/2 hour lunch I think I should start picking up the pace now.

Unfortunately for me I loaned the MoleStar to a buddy last year for burning man and he destroyed my table, lost my favorite chair and the lid to my travel mug. And then whined about giving me $40 for the table when it cost 80 new. Many places have picnic tables, but it was awesome to pull down the folding table for places that didn't. Or use it as an auxiliary table. It served as the bar for the Leap Gerk Off last year.
