I'm stuck on a few boulder problems and I'm switching between certain ones working on one for some time and then going to another but I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO BREAK THROUGH THEM YET! Is it possible that they are too far out of my ability range to complete? Should I do something else to help it move forward faster? I've been working on them for a couple months now and wondering why I haven't been able to pass them. Do some problems take you guys lots of time to surpass and overcome sometimes? Advice on these things?

the climbing learning curve is pretty stretched. might just be that you havent got the skill for it yet. try other progressively harder things and come back to those problems later i had a lot of difficulty with one problem then i began doing a similar problem else where, once i had finished that, i could see that the old problem had places where i could apply new skills and other options were there for me.

If you are stuck for months on a problem you think you should be able to do it almost certainly is because of bad beta. The basic version when stuck on a boulder problem is: 1) Have someone else climb it and study their beta. 2) Try to climb it the same way 3) When you fall off, analyze what went wrong. Did your foot come off, did you not have enough power to stick the next hold, etc? 4) Develop a solution. If your foot comes off, focus on keeping a lot of pressure and body tension so it sticks. If you can't reach the next hold, a slightly different body position might help you reach it. And of course, start by only trying the crux moves so you don't get into the hard parts already pumped.
