Oh, I'm not much on bouldering so I can't really answer that too well.

You might want to look in the routes database here: http://www.rockclimbing.com/...erica/United_States/

Or start a thread with a better title and put it in the General forum (it'll get more attention that way).

Also, when trying to communicate with someone, reply to their post, not your own. That way they get a message that you made a reply.

I've heard that Lincoln Woods in RI is good, but never been there.
There's some bouldering at the Gunks (Peterskill in particular).
There appears to be some at Rumney as well.
I hear Farley Ledge in Mass. is nice but know almost nothing about it.

"The Northeast" is a pretty broad description, but in New England, the two top bouldering destinations (IMO) are Lincoln Woods in Lincoln RI and Pawtuckaway State Park in Nottingham, NH.

Yea this is my first time writing on a forum and I should have been a lot more detailed, but thank you very much for your reply!

I've never been to any of them, but friends from PA always spoke highly of Haycock Mtn, Governor Stable, and Mt Gretna for pebble wrestling.

Check the routes database here or on mountainproject.com for details.

Unfortunately, the season is pretty much finished. If you go to Haycock, Gretna, or Stables right now you will get poison ivy, Lymes disease, and maybe West Nile too. Plus diabase is super friction dependent. The Dacks and Pawtuckaway are good, but you will lose your life to black flies there right now. Your best bet is The Gunks this time of year. Morning and evening sessions can be good, with a swim break in the middle of the day.

Aside from that advise, check back in late October.

I was in the Dack's this weekend. The black flies are not to bad yet, it really makes a difference where you go. North and away from water you should be good, wind doesn't hurt. The Gunk's are a solid choice too.

Coopers rock is right outside of morgantown west virginia depending on what kind of drive that is for you, lots of good problems from v0-v10, mainly v3-v7 but theres still undeveloped stuff as well depending on your skill level, cant give much info on the v7+ problems tho as thats out of my skill level at the moment, but its definitely somewhere to check out. Youtube or vimeo coopers rock bouldering.
