I know there is nothing large or popular around here but I was wondering if anyone knows of any rock at all in Augusta, Hollowell, Farmingdale, Richmond, Randolph, Pittston, dresden, Gardiner or anywhere else local to Farmingdale where I live. I want to find even a small ledge to take my kids to or boulder on when I dont have time to travel but still want to climb something? I have asked and searched to no avail, thanks for any suggestions you can offer.

Killer bouldering wall below the old Edwards dam in Augusta, between bond brook bridge and the dog park, there is probably 200 yds of 20' granite block...some parts are cleaner than others. Bond Brook has an awesome granite arch bridge over it that looks like it could be lead...

I'm checking out the quarry at Quarry Hill in Hallowell. Some vertical granite and other problem structures that look inviting to a newbie like myself. The walls at the Arsenal look like fun, if not challenging. Mostly Camden, but you're right, there must be some interesting stuff right here.

I don't know where the old Edwards dam is, but they have just done some major construction along the river between the two bond brook bridges and the dog park.
