not only doe smy elbow hurt but I also did something to my middle fingers:
After some reather extensive door frame hanging (open hand and half-crimp) due to a lack of real training facilities, I started to experience pain in my middle fingers (mostly left, my stronger hand). The proximal phalanx is sensitive to pressure; also crimping induces some pain inside the PIP; and pockets or other holds can create the painful pressure on the phalanx itself.
I was stupid enough to ignore it for a while, only taping the prximal and medial phalanx to support the pulleys, and climbed on for another two weeks. But since it has not gone away (it got better though especially after treating it with voltaren gel) and I am forced to a rest anyway I was wondering if there is anything I can do do to support the healing? And what exactly is it anyway? I assuem an inflammation of the pulley?
