That was a cool gym though, with a very cool off-fingers / thin hands crack. I seriously gnared my fingers up on that thing. They are all red and abraded now that I've washed the chalk off. Good stuff.

Sammy, here is that other video I was telling you about. http://vimeo.com/7858740 The guy who edited it was a member here, so the resulting thread was a classic RC.com shitstorm. As you can imagine. I think his username was "crazypete" or something similarly appropriate.

I'm never going to solo . . . ok the food has settled and the chamomile tea has kicked in, I'm going to bed!

He had just gotten busted via an illegal raid on his house during which they found a handful of pot plants (though the newspaper reported over 100) and he was under house arrest. Too bad people chased him off, he was kinda cool (it was him that was soloing) and he had fuck all else to do.

so some think the video is fake. i neither possess the skills nor the willingness to possess such skills to be able to tell, but if it is a fake then it's well-edited.

You can browse his FB profile and see more fall-out (no pun intended) from the accident.

I'm on the fence but inclined to say it's real. If it's fake, I say bravo! It has turned out to be a pretty good prank.

I woke up this morning with a crust of blood and clear fluid on the side of my pinkie where I partially detached the flesh from the fingernail. I didn't feel it last night but it's quite tender today. I love finger cracks!

well, made a lot of mistakes, but I'm happy to say they are easily correctable. Happy with how the face, hair, and body turned out. Not so satisfied with the sleeves, but hey, it's my first portrait.
also really happy with how the lights turned out.

So "Mike" the meat bombing soloist in the video, is aka "crazypete"? That was a crazy fall. Could not have been much luckier, missed the little boulder by that much. Good to see he didn't get more hurt by that fall.
