I'm not too sure how the weather will be, but I'm looking to go sport/boulder the hell out of some high desert this fall. Any advice would be splendid, only been there in the winter previously. Also, if anyone would like to come join the festivities, might just be welcome for that. Heads up, this will be a "I just got out of the Marine Corps" party, so i'll probably be partying pretty hard and anyone in a car with me will be free. Oh yeah, I'll still be able to use the commisary at 29 Palms too...
