I will be traveling to Washington and Oregon at the end of the summer and want to do some climbing. Just looking for some advice for places to go for sport or top rope. Also would love to find someone to climb with me!

For WA: Check out Exit 32 and Exit 38 (North Bend, WA) They are very popular sport climbing areas. Check http://www.northbendrock.com for reference. Exit 32 is better in my opinion. Exit 38 has some good routes too, though the quality isn't as good.

If you want to get on some Granite, check out the Index Town Wall (Stout Trad climbing), there's some sport climbs there. Leavenworth is great too and has a nice mix of everything.

For OR: Smith Rock!
