I currently have a BD old style blizzard
I work on ropes courses and such and end up doing a fair bit of ropes access type work. I really like having a harness that is comfortable all day and still not so bulky that i can't go sort climbing in it.
My current shortlist is
Misty Cadillac
BD Big Gun or Aspect
Petzl Calidris
Any opinions out there?

Yates makes some all day comfy harnesses too.

the Big Gun is probably the most comfortable harness that I have ever put on. I've never tried any of the others that you have suggested though. The only downside for me on the big gun was that it was on the heavy side. I often have my harness on for hours at the time but i'm not sitting in it very often since i'm mostly climbing 1 pitch sport routes.

I own three of the four most comfortable harnesses on the market. Basically from most comfortable to least you get Yates Bigwall, Metolius Safe-Tech Waldo, Yates Shield, BD Big Gun. All other harnesses will fall somewhere below the Big Gun. From the choices in your list, the Big Gun will be the most comfortable as it is the only big wall harness on your list.

Of all the harnesses I've used over the years the Yates Bigwall is by far the most comfortable. I've tryed on, hung in, and used most of the range of harnesses available here; Given the choice I'll put the Bigwall on every time (exceptions are caving and ski touring on glaciers, stream line is the way to go for that).
The big wall is by far the most expensive harness I have ever purchased. That said, there is a reason I have spent the money on 3 swami's and 2 sets of leg loops over the years... comfort, racking, support, versatility.
If the more traditional swami design isn't for you I'd check out the Shield, Waldo, Cadillac, and BigGun (in that order).

climbing harnesses are not rated for rope access work so you should have two harnesses. one for climbing and one for your work.
if you do rope access work then you should know the rules.

The Yates Big Wall harness rubbed me the wrong way. Was actually uncomfortable in a short period of time, rubbing my love handle area. Both the Cadillac and the Metolius Waldo big wall harness fit ME better for hanging.
See that word "ME" up there. Remember that "ME" is not "YOU". You should try to hang in the ones you shortlist before you buy them and find out the "hard" way that the Nutcracker isn't just a song.
The Metolius is the most comfortable harness made I believe. However, it's heavy and bulky for sport route climbing. The Cadillac is a great all-around harness.

Hey Majid,
maybe it wasn't clear but i did say ropes access TYPE work.
I do things similar to ropes access I don't work in ropes access. My work has a ropes access style harness for me but honestly I'm not a big fan.
It fits similar to some caving harnesses I've used.
I don't work in ropes access
so i don't know the rules
and i'm ok with that.
Maybe a better way to describe the work i do is that it is similar to equipping routes or indoor route setting.

I have over 30 different harnesses and my most expensive ones are the rope access harnesses and depends on the type of work and classification, they are built differently. Some has to do with OSHA rules .if you are looking for confy harness with dual purpose usage then Camp harnesses , Yates or even petzl will work. I like Yates big wall harness cause they are well built and priced right. Camp is little lighter and works well. Petzl is pricy and its my least favorite one.
if you are going to work on towers or around too much metal then get a harness that has steel ring in the front loop rather than regular belay loop made of webbing.

Why did you just say so in the first place?
I set 1 or 2 days a week and use my Cadillac. Many others use the big wall harness already mentioned above.
Some full-time setters use a bosun's seat and/or arborist harness.
