Hi everybody. Im curious where the nearest/best multipitch sport climbs are located to me. Im around the iowa city area and dont mind driving 5-6 hours. Thanks guys.

I don't think there's really a whole lot of climbing at all within 5 or 6 hours, much less multipitch sport. Sorry.

Lol, if you find any, let us guys in Omaha know. Truss bridges work if you're willing to use your imagination and risk getting arrested. I've been trying to find some sort of man made structure just to practice rope management at hanging belays. (ya, I know this is an old thread)

Hi, Im Bill, from La Crosse, WI. Every summer I get out to South Dakota, the Rushmore area, and I simply love the Spires area in Custer St. Park, knobby, vertical, fairly easy, lots of exposure, very majestic. Great multi-pitch stuff. Get back to me, we ought to network. Every year Im looking for a partner, now falling into the (dangerous?) habit of doing more soloing of 4th and very easy 5th class stuff in high mountains--not because I prefer to do it, but because I simply cant find a partner to do moderate, safe, trad. Get back. Bill
