Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but I thought I'd share this short film I wrote and directed about rock climbing. I wrote it to convey the goodness of traveling to natural places and used the aesthetic qualities of climbing to enhance the film. I just entered it into a short film contest and it needs votes to get to the next round, so if you could take a look at it and vote, it would be greatly appreciated and the potential winnings would be used to support climbers! Here's the link: http://www.facebook.com/...=app_130386650433349 The title of the film is "Climber" Thanks! -Andras

Thanks for sharing. A little feedback (if you care): not sure if the climber really is "first timer" (not sure that it matters for the audience), the camera movement at times made me a bit sick, and not sure if a guy sitting on the beach writing "find yours" is well linked to climbing. But good luck. I enjoyed it.

Hey yourself. Straw is cheaper. Grass if free. Your filming was OK. But the title is misleading. You could name it "Life's a Beach", or "Buddies in Fresh Air", or "Shaving is for Working Dudes". Frankly I think the climbing aspect -- the technical stuff about ropes -- could be omitted. Then the unity for the rest of the scenes would be stronger, and maybe your message would be clearer.
