Hi there,
Was that thread really so unsalvagable, that a mod had to recycle (or more appropriately trash) it entirely?
and if, yes, what where the specific reasons?

While I wasn't the one who sent it to the recycling bin, I just had a look at the thread and it would be my assumption that it was removed because the last 20 odd posts were merely people calling each other names. I think it's fair to say the thread has degenerated into an unrecoverable position.

Indeed there wasent much useful information in the last two pages on that thread. But I supposed a more appropriate option would have been to just scrap the last two pages and ban the guy that seemingly joined the forum simply to complain about the thread. The first few pages had some good and accurate history about Hawaii's indoor climbing scene.
