Dear slackliners,

I need your help!

I’m a German sports student and as part of my bachelor thesis at the Institut for Nature Sports and Ecology at the German Sport University Cologne, I’m carrying out a study on injuries and overload damage in slacklining.

You can help me by answering my survey and forward it to all your slacklining friends.
This survey is addressed to all slackliners including everyone who has helped building up a slackline.

Important is that you fill in the survey even though you might never have had an injury while slacklining.

It takes about 10 minutes.

Through your participation you’ll help to create a scientific database on injuries and overload injuries in slacklining, which for example might help to testify typical injuries and their prevention.

If you got any questions or remarks don't hesitate to contact me or post them here.

Here is the link: http://ww3.unipark.de/...porthochschule/79af/

Thank you for your cooperation and your interest.

I took the English version of the survey. You used some terms that may not be clear to everyone.

* "sb." is that "somebody"? Whatever it means you should just spell it out.
* "protectors"... unclear if that is referring to a person acting as a spotter, or wearing some sort of protective device such as a wrist guard, elbow guard or helmet
* everyone may not be clear about the names you gave to tensioning systems

Oh... and I just realized that I entered "150" for weight (pounds, not kilograms).

Regards,

Romanair

Thanks for your feedback.
You are right I'll change that and try to specify the answers...
I saw the problem with the metric system coming but I hope that those mistakes can be identified in further analysis.
You gonna have a real high BMI Tongue
