Hi everyone. I'm going to college next year in Chicago and I was wondering what indoor gyms offer the best value in terms of bouldering. Price is also a factor. Thanks a lot!

I have been to the one up the street by me at the Old Town FFC Gym. You don't need membership, can buy day or multipass etc. It's a small wall, but they are always changing up the routes.

For bouldering only, there is Off Belay. I haven't been there but hear they are pretty aggressive problems, and not for the beginner, which I am. They are without a doubt the best priced, 25 bucks a month.

Most people say that the best gym is Vertical Endeavors, big ass gym with big ass walls. Unfortunately they are out in the suburbs so it requires a car, which I don't have. Not sure of the price.

There are some other gym walls peppered around, but don't know anything about them personally.
