The normal route up Mt Blanc avalanched early this morning, 9 dead, 4 missing and 9 injured so far.

Few European climber also died few days ago in Swiss alps due to avalanche. A disaster year in European alpine climbing.

Hmmmmm...... I've been following an friend of a friend's posts on facebook. He was due to climb either Wednesday or Thursady. At this stage he doesn't seem to be being reported as part of the group that was hit.
