Is there such a thing that can be used to climb? Is there a company who makes hemp ropes for rock climbing?

There are companies that make hemp rope, mostly for marine use, But SunJam? said it best.

I dont think it would be very smart at all. The tensile strength isnt the same as a real climbing rope and it wont stretch much so taking a lead fall will result in a broken back after all that energy gets transferred straight to your hips instead of being absorbed by the rope.

We stopped using hemp ropes 50 years ago for good reason.

Even when they did the historic re-enactment in 2001 of the eiger first ascent they cheated by using a hybrid rope (a hemp rope with a kernmantel core). Why would you want a hemp rope?
