If they stick with it for more than a season or two. Seems to be the trend for most younger/newer climbers. Its "the greatest thing ever" for a very short period of time until they try something new. If I had a quarter for every new climber that told me they were a "lifer" then quit within a year, I would have saved enough money to buy all of us true "lifers" a new rack. Cheers

If I [hold on - *runs to bathroom to evacuate breakfast and mid-morning snack*] weighed 65 lbs, I'd crush too. I think I can bump another letter grade with my next round of Bulimia ARCs.

She definitely has great parents: Didier Raboutou and Robyn Ersfield (spelling ?) ... but she is an amazing kid and a great climber ...

I don't train. I climb for fun not numbers.
I need to stay away from the training and sport climbing forums likely.
Maybe we can bring up the body image thread?

Scared of pushing your personal limits. I also don't believe that you would go around exclusively climbing in 4th class gullies all day and talking about how much fun you had.
Again, this phrase is just an excise climbers use to not push themselves. (Myself included)

Neither is putting down other climbers accomplishments.
I've also noticed to top notch high end trad climbers climb pretty hard hard sport too.
The girl is not even half the height of an adult and all the to lazy to train climbers can come with is, if I were lighter, I'd climb harder too.

Her 49 year old mom has recently climbed 8c. But she probably eats healthy and trains hard as well.
