Hey all, I'm new to the forum so I thought I would introduce myself. I live in a fairly large country town in Queensland, Australia. In this town (Emerald) it's fairly flat and there's not really any descent structures to climb. Though, my passion for rock climbing began in a small town called Springsure, which is about 40 minutes from Emerald. The main climbing feature for me in Springsure, is Virgin Rock. It's this structure and many more that I have fallen in love with, and have grown a strong passion to climb some of these marvellous rock structures. I'm only 16 but I have always and forever will be involved in Climbing, hiking and camping. Thanks, Luke Basford

Hi Luke Its good to see you have the climbing bug. Climb everything and anything! One of my friends when she gets drunk she tries to climb lamp posts. (not Recommended) If you can get a free wall bolt some holds into place for a bit of bouldering. I've done this with my garage its great for those days i cant get out but really need to climb. Good luck!

Haha, yes I definitely have got the climbing bug. I'm keen to go for a climb this weekend after work, just out near Springsure (Virgin Rock) |
