had a busy weekend.
Friday I swam to the 1/4 mile buoy with coworkers with champagne, and had a catered dinner when we swam back. Saturday I worked on the platform bed for my truck, and Sunday I did the Solana Beach Sprint Triathon. I did awful on the swim, but I didn't drown so I guess it could have been worse. I think it might be time I learned how to swim for reals

Does anyone climb the checkerboard mesa? We drove past it a bunch, viewed it from the turnout once. All the cracks looked shallow, but the last time I wizzed by, it actually looked like at least the one crack was deep, would take cams like a splitter.
