Just an FYI, I’m auctioning my Thuraya Satellite Phone on ebay (link below). I used the phone last fall in the Khumbu region and it absolutely rocked. Thuraya is by far the best phone for any of the big Central Asia mountain ranges (e.g., Himalaya, Karakoram, etc). Give it a look:

Have you tried the Iridium or Inmarsat from Mobal?

I had inmarsat back in 2003... fucking hated it.
