Hi all, I'm an Australian student studying abroad in Singapore. If you are interested in climbing at Batu caves on the weekend (preferably Saturday) let me know. There is limited climbing in Singapore (outdoor) and is restricted to an old quarry called the "Quarry" Mainly single pitch stuff, with existing and potential trad lines. I have rope and draws. Cheers, Joe

Joe, hi. i just posted a thread of my own but i am also replying here in case you do not see my thread. i am in indonesia now but i will be in singapore for at least a few days around the end of august. i will then go to malaysia, thailand, etc. i would like to meet people for climbing, lunch, beach, etc. i have climbed in oz before (blue mtns, nowra, grampians). maybe we can meet and climb or get lunch? i am also trying to find an inexpensive place to crash for a few days in singapore. i am registered with couchsurfing and will try their website but i prefer climbers so please let me know if you know of anyone with a spare couch or corner on the floor where i could sleep on my crash pad for a night or two. i look forward to hearing from ya. thanks! mark
