Does anyone new someone or a place in massachusetts that i can get my climbing shoes re-soled. I am going to school soon so I was hoping to not have to send the shoes out west and already be gone by the time they return. I know the companies out west are quick and good but I also just don't really feel like shipping and that hassle. Thanks for your help.

Yeah, there's a guy who does it, but I can't remember the name or the location. I think he's just west of Boston. Anyway, you can always call MetroRock and ask them who they use. A few years ago they were sending them to this guy. Not sure if they still are though.

I've used Crescent Resoles in Charlottsville, VA a couple times--fast, reliable, good work, and about the same price as everyone else.

Metro doesn't send out resoles anymore. Whatever the OP chooses, DO NOT USE PRODEAL RESOLES. They kept 2 pairs of my climbing shoes for a year. Wouldn't return emails or calls, either.

Metro doesn't send out resoles anymore. Well, he can always ask who they used to use. I'm pretty sure the guy was local.

I don't think the resoler was reliable on getting shoes back to people. I was told to go elsewhere.

The staff at metro is pretty much split between Rock & Resole, the Rubber Room, and Plattsburgh if that makes any difference.
