Poaching in the old world did have a noble and time honored tradition, but here in America most hunters wouldn't piss on a poacher if he/she were on fire. Poachers in hunting ruin our sport, like vandals in climbing ruin our sport.

I'm a hunter as well as a climber and here in Maryland the hunting laws are strict and I think it's better to put a deer down with an arrow yourself then buying it in a store. 50% of the deer I killed I gave to a non profit organization that gives the deer meat to homeless people. How's that for noble.
