Hi, I'm a Brazilian climber, and will do a trip through Yosemite on October. I'll be going alone, and should stay in the valley for the entire month 10/03 to 10/26. Maybe spent some days in Tuolumne Meadows too... who knows. I'm experienced climber (at least 10 years), climbed all over Brazil, repeating and opening new routes. I've never been on Yosemite. Don't have any Big Wall experience (with portaledge, haulbag, etc.), anyway I can aid climb and lead free up to 5.11b/c trad. Everybody told that Yosemite grades are hard, so I should be cautious at first (easier routes), to feel what I can do around there. I prefeer free multi pitch one day routes, but will be interesting to do some Big Wall climb (despite my inexperience). I would like to climb some of the the guidebook classics. Anyway, I'm game on any opportunity to climb something, specially with someone who knows the valley. Any partners?! Andrey Romaniuk aromaniuk@yahoo.com http://TradFriends.com

I live west of Yosemite (Modesto, CA) and am free to climb when you're here. I have guide book, rope and full rack, can lead 5.7/5.8 and follow up to 5.11 (but perhaps not always so gracefully). E-mail: trish_stoops@hotmail.com cell: 229-942-4360
