So, I was thinking about going on the Petzl Roctrip to patagonia. I'm only 18. What do you think? Should I go so I can learn from the pros? or no?

ah, to be young again.

if you're 18 and have the money and means then you really should go to Patagonia and enjoy yourself.

no idea about the whole Petzl Roctrip thing.

Registration fees total 150 Argentinian pesos (ARS) for online registration, and 200 ARS for on-site registration.
Payment will be made in cash to the organizers on site (no payment online).

See current ARS → conversion rates.

Registration fees include:

a campsite at the Petzl RocTrip campground for the 4 days
the climbing topo for the valley

150 Argentinian pesos = about $32 USD

Flights out of Dulles (where I live) are currently about $1150.

I bet you could do the whole trip for well under $2000. I'm actually tempted to do it myself
