I'm a casual climber looking to step it up after my recent move from Philly to Austin. All my climbing has been gym and outdoor bouldering, I have never lead climbed. If I buy a rope and go to Reimers is it possible to set up a top rope on some 5.7-5.10 routes without lead climbing?

Havent been to Reimers in a few years now but I highly doubt that thier are any routes that you can get to by not climbing them to set up a TR, but i could be wrong now last time I was at Reimers was back in 2002 so its been a very long time so I could be wrong. Most of the time youll be able to run into lots of people that might be able to help you out. If your moving to Austin then you must have a run at Heuco Tanks one of the best bouldering spots in TX.

climbing in austin; 40m rope can top rope almost every single climb in austin, now you know the heights of the climbs too! reimers ranch is a rock cliff that runs along the perdenalas river, there is a giant field atop, you can walk to almost any route and touch chains safely from up top.
