I've had some training and more or less understand the basics. What I'm lacking is someone (or a small group) of trustworthy folks to climb with.
I'm up for pretty much any [sane] adventure, anywhere, any time. I'd like to start with some of the easier Portland area climbs but since I am unemployed/self employed/retired I can pretty much travel at will.
I am ex-Military and VERY reliable and trustworthy. I'm in pretty decent shape for a geezer but would probably be too slow for climbers under 40-50.
I'd be very grateful if you're doing an easy-ish climb and invited me to tag along.
