I am looking for a partner for moderate trad climbing in North Carolina. I have climbed for many years, have gear, transportation, etc and know most of the areas to climb in NC. I really enjoy multi-pitch trad: Mummy, Daddy, Great Arch, Sentinel, Peekaboo, etc. I live in Troutman about 40 miles north of Charlotte and am free most weekends and occasionally through the week. got a trip already planned for Nov 9th weekend and i was taking a guy that had never gone before. He bailed yesterday, go figure. I was planning to go down into LG to the amphitheater for climbing all day Saturday and camp at TR saturday night. Same as you, too much gear, been climbing 13 years (VA,NC,GA,NH,TX,HI,Ireland) take a trip for something every couple of weeks. Hows the 9th? I will drive up friday night and then hike in early saturday morning. then take it easy saturday night.

I am planning to climb with justwant2climb
at Linville Gorge on Nov 9 but he will be leaving Sunday morning and apparently not climbing. So looking for someone to climb with sunday.
