I recently got back into rock climbing after 8 months to a year of not climbing.
I have a basic understanding of climbing technique but would really like to start taking climbing seriously again.
Anyone have good advice?

So? Then start taking it seriously again. Go climbing. This is such a vague question. What are you really looking for?

And yes, moving to somewhere relatively close to climbing is probably a good idea.

If you're serious.

What kind of climbing did you do before your stopped? Trad? Sport? Bouldering? What grades were you climbing before you stopped?

Have you always lived in Florida?

Are there climbing gyms near you?

I agree that your question is a bit generic, but lets use these questions as your starting point. Wink
