Hello everyone!
New to the forum so ill start out with a little introduction. My names Hayes. I currently live in Savannah, Ga going to school at SCAD for Industrial Design. Haven't been climbing for long. Started last summer when I was back home. I started climbing in Tampa, Fl once a week. Once I got back up to Savannah I stopped due to no place really to climb unless you want to travel 2-3 hours away.
Well I heard about a place opening so we decided to stop by and see if it was really happening. Due to the myth floating around for a few years and nothing ever opening. Well to my surprise we found the place as they were still in the process of building. Ever since then I haven't left.
We have only been opened since Sept.1 and so far have had a great turn out. We are only on phase one of a few phases. Right now we have about 35 marked routes. Next phase is building the rest of the space. Then third phase is covering the ceiling and setting up a slackline. We just put in our canvas boards.
Its a great place. Great bunch of people. We are already planning trips out to horse pens on Oct 12 for the weekend. We also have yoga every sun!
If your ever around the area and get the urge to climb feel free to come by!
Ill keep everyone posted on each phase as we complete them.
