Hey West Coasters, I just moved from Boise to Grants Pass, OR and am in need of some new friends. Preferably ones that climb... Never done the internet thing before, but I've also never moved to a new area where I didn't know ANYONE! So, any offers or suggestions on climbing areas is appreciated. Thanks!

Hi Jill,
Be sure to check out the gym in Medford when you get a chance. That will be a good way to meet some people. They also carry the local guide book. Also check out the route database on this site for a good idea of some local crags.

And if you use facebook, there's a local climber group called "Jefferson State Climbers"

Thanks scottb! You read my mind. I thought I'd wait to check out the gym when the weather gets a little crummier. Hard to think about gym climbing when it's so nice out, ya know? (but I suppose it would be better than doing the NOTHING I've been doing so far...) And I did already order some of the local guide books to get me pointed in the right direction. Thanks for the post!
