Dude, go to the doctor. Rest up. Send next year. Lingering issues like this don't go away without rest. you know this. the only cure is more pc++, but that's besides the point. You don't want to ruin what's been a damn good year by taking another YEAR off. rest it.

So, last week I worked all day every day moving our belongings into the new house in the rain, probably 15 pick-up truck loads total along with two trailer loads.

We spent our first night in the rental home on Thursday, but I managed to sneak out for about five hours to the local crag, which is now only a 10 minute drive away. We added a finish to one of our previous FAs to link it to the top of the cliff, then semi-cleaned a new line (right of our classic "A Toltec Dream") that is far from classic but worth doing, leading it at 5.7+ and naming it "An Aztec Nightmare."

Spent the weekend unpacking, arranging furniture, and settling in. Had to run to my parents on Sunday to watch the Patriots game, as we don't get cable hooked up until later today. In the meantime we have been watching "Downton Abbey" on DVD, which I am pleasantly surprised to find very good.

So, we had to leave the old microwave with the old house, and the new house doesn't have one. A minor inconvenience, but stupidly while stocking up on munchies yesterday I bought, you guessed it, microwave popcorn...

Unsure

I think you can still cook it, right? Not in the bag obviously, but I think someone told me once that you can take it out of the bag and cook it in a pot.

google that first.

or buy renter's insurance.

Two different people walked up to me today and tried to start a conversation while I was working. Just wanted to chat...

WTF! I would never do that to a person. What would possibly make someone think it's a good idea to randomly impose themselves on a stranger like that? So ridiculous.

Downton is quite good. Seen seasons 1 & 2 and rather enjoyed both.

Good job getting a bit-o-climbing in too. At least someone is getting out.

Raided the garden tonight. The takings were a small football sized eggplant, a bell pepper, some onion, a cucumber, and kale. One of the guys at work has a passion fruit tree and gladly shared today.

I came home with 6 fruits. I took three and blended it with olive oil, vinegar, added some lemon, and some finely chopped dried cranberries to make a stellar vinaigrette.

The onion, pepper, and kale went into a pan with some olive oil and I added some tofu to the mix before seasoning with 1/2 lemon, some pepper, and a small pinch of salt.

Took and chopped the tomatoes up and added them, the cucumber, onion, and some mozzarella cheese that we made yesterday and poured the vinaigrette over it.

Holy crap, it's sensational!

Paired it with a nice Riesling.

actually, take out a couple of those and it sounds pretty good.

passion fruit (maracujá) is also really freaking good with salmon. maracujá is about as common here as hamburgers are in the U.S.
