Hi, i'm climbing for almost 2 years now and i want to get my training some better organised. (climbing on level 7a, V5) i have been reading a lot about Climbing training over the last week I understand why we need the endurence, power straight and rest to become a better climber. For endurence straight i should do 4x20 minutes up/down climbing and incrase this (the route level or the time ?) For power i should go bouldering or rope climbing above my level For restdays i should go climbing without getting pumped or go mountenbiking/swimming. And ofcourse we need to work on our projects en climb the hell out of it. Now, one thing thats not so clear to me: should i put this in a week system like Mondag: restday in climbing gym thuesday: endurance training wensday: restday (cardio) thursday: power straight friday: retsday (maybe climbing) saterday or sunday: project or in a 6 week system like 1 weeks rest climbing (with project climbing on saterday or sunday) 2 week working on endurence 3 times a week, a lot of climbing with not so much rest (with project climbing on saterday or sunday) 2 week training on power 3 times a week, short climbs with a lot of rest ( weekend restclimbing) 1 weeks rest climbing (with project climbing on saterday or sunday) I want to try one of these programs till the end of this year so i get to know how its works. after newyear i will work on campus and hangingboard before starting with a perfect personal program. What do you think of this ? i hope you can give me some feedback. Maybe i'm all wrong and i dont mind strating over again. If you have any information/training programs feel free to share them with me ;-) Grts and Love from belgium Sander (fight.back@hotmail.com)
