I figure Gen 1 was the original when we had visits from those other guys quite a bit. That probably ended with sunny's mirror trick that I think the mods were secretly happy to have to make him to time, so to speak. Or maybe it ended with Sty's passing. Gen 2 probably includes that period with wolfie and includes the time when Aeiouandsometimesyrian's lady poked needles into Jack's doll. Gen 3 includes Wesley and Spike and Lazlo, none of whom pop in that much anymore (laz is somewhat of an exception). Gen 4 is probably now, but since Sunny rarely pops in these days (and he's not even studying anymore, so like, WTF?) I bet we're seeing a sunset on that. I dunno, are we birthing Gen 5? Do I want to ask that in that way? I'm thinking no.
