Get your pizza ready, get your chinese food ready! what's with people adding random "s"es onto the end of words? There's a clif near here called White Bluff, as in the colour of the cliff. It seems the majority of people call it Whites Bluff (I'm not sure if they assume the "White" family is showing ownership or what....I suspect they've never even thought about it).

A lot of folks in my hometown in Yewtah would always add the possessive "s" to the end of any place of business, as in "oh, I'm going down to Walmart's."

It's annoying, but if you think about how it exemplifies a quaint, pre-corporate attitude that all places of business are owned by a single someone, well... ok, it's still fucking annoying.

It has been a little overcast here, but still with highs in the 70s.

They said they got the klown kar to and from solar collector, with no porblems.

No, no clownkars were involved in this decision. Indeed! It was simply a decision made by the city -- as well as multiple surrounding cities-- in anticipation of Hurricaine Sandy.

Went surfing today for the first time since Panama, May 2009. Wow... long time. It's been even longer since I've been in a wet suit, maybe 5 years? Good news is that it seems to have been long enough to forget how much better it is to go without a wetsuit. And long enough to get over my former conditions snobbery and have a good time surfing shit waves. Think I'll be doing a lot more of that this winter. I sold oft the Land Hog so I no longer have 4x4 for the sik powdah runz.
