The guy's a genius, literally, I'd be suprised if he wasn't.

I'm sure plenty won't like him when he's president, but they'll like their bank accounts!

go

Still happy?

Yeh, so ummm... Like it wasn't even close as far as EC votes go (i.e., "land-slide!!!"), and he even won the popular vote, albeit by a much smaller margin... And the results from your retarded state aren't even in yet, which, is gonna go to the POTUS.

alright alright my guy got pwnt! gotta admit the huge discrepancy between the popular and electoral is wetarded.

Bad news, see you all in 5 trillion more debt. I guess
you could say thats a 1 trillion dollar cut compared to the last four years Wink

Good news, Obama will cut the military, we can work on the rest in four years, hopefully. I doubt a R would do that but hopefully it's already done before an R gets back in so that they can just maintain the new budget.

Gooder news, my business is hiring but not for long, can't get 15 employees, good thing many of my people's are 1099.

Badder news, I'll likely have to pay more for healthcare, no more 50/month catastrophic plan for me (im that cheap). My dentist wants me to fix my veneers I told him I'll just stop using my front teeth, I don't really need them much anyway. I can easily afford them but I would prefer to put my money into things that bring a return. 4k for 4 veneers is just silly.

It will be interesting to see if anything can get through in the next four.

Yea, I'm pretty sure we are committed to at least 5 trillion more in debt. I don't see what that has to do with this thread though.

I like the way this graph is put together, and the info in it:

I heard that there was an unarmed Black Panther standing in front of a polling place in Philadelphia, opening doors for people. That might have scared off enough Romney supporters to cost him the election. Don't worry though, Fox is on the story.

Ha! Even after the Reps succeded in redistricting, to favor them, voter ID laws to favor them, and even the 2010 Census reallocated Electoral College votes in a manner that heavily favored Red States*, you still lost by a large number... (i.e., it wasn't even close)

So, given the choice of facing "reality", you once again, choose "denial"... "It MUST be voter fraud!!! Yeh, that's it."

*2010 Census Reallocation of EC Votes

States won by Democrats
in 2000, 2004 and 2008:
Illinois -1
Massachusetts -1
Michigan -1
New Jersey -1
New York -2
Pennsylvania -1
Washington +1

States won by Republicans
in 2000, 2004 and 2008:
Arizona +1
Georgia +1
Louisiana -1
Missouri -1
South Carolina +1
Texas +4
Utah +1

Remaining states:
Florida (Democratic in 2008, Republican in 2000 and 2004) +2
Iowa (Democratic in 2000 and 2008, Republican in 2004) -1
Nevada (Democratic in 2008, Republican in 2000 and 2004) +1
Ohio (Democratic in 2008, Republican in 2000 and 2004) -2

Because they just cannot bear the thought that the majority (rightly) think they are NOT the party that should lead the US into the 21st century. The 19th maybe, but not the 21st.

Historical footnote. The Republican party did not exist in the late 18th century.

It's a Good OLD Party, what do you expect?

As a side note, I still remember my disbelief when I finally learned what GOP stands for. Really, who thought that was a great name for a party? No wonder they always go by abbreviation, and not the full name.

Actually, it stands for GRAND Old Party. You know, like the Grand Ol'Opry!

Though, actually, I take issue with "Old." The GOP's current positions of small government for domestic fiscal matters, and big government for social and military matters, is actually NEWER than any strain of the Democratic Party. The GOP had a major realignment in 1920 and in 1980 (and probably will have another one in the next couple years). The Democrats have had no similar realignment since the New Deal. In this sense, the Dems are thus the conservative party.
