I've been bouldering a lot recently, and I noticed a slight discomfort in my right elbow after the last couple of sessions. It wasn't enough to stop me from climbing hard (no discomfort at all once warmed up), but I don't want to let it get worse. I'm taking a week off from all climbing to recover, and I'll see how I feel after. Besides the well-known preventative weight exercises and stretches to help the antagonist muscles, is there anything else you have found useful to speed up recovery? E.g. posture, massage, ice, wearing an arm brace around the elbow, ... ?

If you think it is some form of elbow tendonitis then ice, vitamin I(buprofen) and rest. I've found when coming back that using an elbow sleeve or forearm strap helps with the pain to some extent
