I'm new to the South Bend area and I'm looking to climb. Does anyone know what the climbing community is like in South Bend? Where do people go? I can't really find anything other than a couple small indoor walls. Any insight is helpful! Thanks

There is no climbing in South Bend open to the public. Notre Dame has a climbing club that Notre Dame students and faculty can use. They can bring you in as a guest but it really is only one bouldering wall. Climb Kalamazoo is really the only true climbing gym in the area. I am in the planning stages of opening an indoor gym in South Bend. Hopefully, it will be up and running in a year. Until that time, Climb On!
