I'm new to the area and will be spending Nov.-Apr. here, from what I've put together there are no locals that climb in this area. I'm a Boulderer by preference but have plans to learn trad just as soon as I get back to Canada. If anyone is in the area on vacation (or for any reason for that matter) and wants to do some climbing there is a big 60(ish)ft cliff nearby and what looks to be some decent beach bouldering I'll be setting some problems and would love to have a partner.
If you know anyone who lives here and is looking for the same or wants to pick up the sport I'll be putting together a climbing club asap, please direct them to this thread and we can start up a dialogue.
