I like rock. I like to touch it, to get my hands and feet on it, to go up it. If I had my way, I'd get myself out onto some rock for one day every weekend.
The problem is that finding partners is tough. It shouldn't be that hard. Southern CA is filled with people, and there is an absolute TON of sportclimbing around the area.
Mostly I'm looking for single-day trips. I'm not a morning person, so I like to start a bit late and then climb 'till dark.
My best day is Friday. I can do some Saturdays too. I'm never free on Sundays.
I'm currently climbing up to 5.11b, and if I can stick with it, I'm about ready to make the bump to 5.11c. But I'd be happy to work with someone who climbs a a couple of grades above or below me - as long as we can all get to stuff we enjoy.
Anyone?
