Just built a wall in my backyard and i want to buy about 100 holds to start with. Ive seen a lot of starter packs at nicros, climb it, atomik etc. I just want personal opinions on starter kits or maybe other hold companys to go through. Price is a huge factor and i prefer holds that come with the correct size bolt (which is making me lean towards nicros) Climb it holds looks the best but are way to expensive. Any insight is appreciated

Three Ball has some good shapes at good prices. Also, Element is having a sale, 40% off all holds.

We just bought a big batch of Element holds for the gym back in April, and I'll just say they're awesome. Tons of texture, cool shapes, and bright colors (which, in my opinion, is good.) They're very reasonably priced and there's a lot of variety already. If they still do the free sample pack do it, 8 bucks shipping for 5 holds is a great deal. But I would say just go for it, I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Well i can imagine your opinion is slightly biased based on your name but they are damn cheap. Ill give them a shot.

That looks like a great place to start. Make sure you have a few friends over to help set. Having to work someone else's route/problem is key to keeping it interesting.
