About beta.... where to stay, the cheapest acommodation in hotel cost about 10 pounds per night (12 euros), the cheapest aco on island is camping (4 pounds per person per night), however, there is a nice list of camp places where you can stay for free (one is just next to arico -one of the best climbing crags on tenerife), but you need to report it to local goverment that you'll be there. Traveling without car" buy a bonovi travel card (cost 15e, 30 euros). This ismagnetic card, you may travel 50% cheaper on longer distances, and about 30% cheaper on shorter. Renting a car cost about 90e for a cheapest car in spanish orcar. Renting a bike cost 10euros for a mtb, 15e for racing bike per day. I recommend camping el medano, just behind the south aiport, close to the lovely beach. Quality of rock: Canada el capricho is super cosmic area, with various shapes of rock and yellow colour, with many holes, caves, spikes. Completely different world. This is a place where the movie 12 monkeys and one of star wars part was made :) Arico: two valleys, magma rock, perfect friction, vertical walls and overhangs, routes up to 8c, dark colour or rock. If you need a photos of places, links websites, or hotels send me a priv mail in priv msg, then I'll attach it rgds M

go to websites lowcostholidays or beatthebrochure and choose hotel only, put tenerife and date and then you'll find all hotels, prices rise from 10 pounds per night, or just buy a single tent (1.5kg) and night on campsite cost you 6.5f per night, with all amenities, palmas and nice swimming pool in price :) M

So camping is the best option. Even a wooden hut for 4 persons cost 40e per night, caravan for 4 ten e less per night :) here's a web to orcar, renault twingo for a week cost 79e/65pounds for a week. Citroen C3 84e per week. No need to pay card, cash accepted
