I PTFTW your thanksgiving!

We're celebrating two days late for logistical reasons here. Having roasted beef tenderloin with fresh herb stuffing. No turkey this time round.

What about cranberry sauce? This is the first year I fail to make my mom's delicious cranberry chutney recipe, and I really miss it. ;(

that fucking sounds awesome!

Recipe:
Drain juice from one can of pineapple chunks or tidbits. Add water to juice to make 1 cup liquid. To this add: 2 cups sugar, 1 lb. cranberries, 1 cup golden raisins, 1/2 tsp each of cinnamon, allspice and salt, add 1/4 tsp of ginger.
Simmer all over low heat 20-25 minutes. Add pineapple and one cup coarsely chopped pecans. Keep Refrigerated.

Yea, well I got no family crises. If I actually thought I could inherit that, I would cut his rope. But I am somewhat doubtful of that. Leaving the only tangable stuff going to Jeremiah. So I will leave his rope uncut, bad karma anyway...

Did go climbing at the local spot yesterday. Elbow felt really good. Repeated a bunch of .7-.10's and fell twice on a hard as nails .10c that I've never been on. It's a mixed route with a single bolt half way up but I think it will go on gear if I buy/borrow a second gray TCU.

Bolt's not near ground-fall is it? That'd be a shitty way to find out why the bolt's there.

Good that you're back at it. Pay attention to that elbow, though. I'm telling you, you don't want it to flare up.

Yep. Protects groundfall. Gray TCU is good substitute??
YGD
That is awl.

Speaking of which, I finally moseyed to my university's fitness center and took a look at the "climbing wall," a mostly disappointing assortment of jugs with various undergrads on the floor beneath it doing calisthenics. There is a sign saying that helmets must be worn at all times when roped up. Pirate

<--- Jealous!

It's sunny, well, for a little bit more today. Mid 60s, no wind. Overcast. A rather pleasant day today. Didn't even need a hoody this morning.
